Melody~

I love my dog. She is one of my best friends, and she will always have a place in my heart.
My family has had her for almost 3 years. We rescued her from an uncaring family in May of 2011.  Melody loves to sit on the backs of couch cushions and on the edge of my bed to watch passerby and ninja squirrels. She will do anything for a belly rub, jumps on the trampoline, and is generally silly and crazy. Mel gets along well with any sort of dog, and her best friend is a Spoodle named Jackson.

Birthday- August 2nd, 2009
Breed-English Springer Spaniel

Thanksgiving 2012

Happy Turkey Day! Gobble Gobble. It is that time of year again where people start thinking of what they are thankful for. I am thankful that I have a roof over my head, a loving family who treat me kindly, medical attention when I need it, and the room to grow and nurture my interests. It makes me sad to see how parts of the rest of the world are doing, then to see some people do horrible things like steal and bully. Thank goodness for the United Nations. They help others out. I love researching the pilgrims and how they left England.

As I am a vegetarian, no turkey for me! I had a fake chicken cutlet. They are quite tasty. One of my favorite parts of Thanksgiving is the crescent rolls. My mom and I made delicious apple and pumpkin pies.
The pumpkin pie in mixing bowl.

The finished pumpkin pie. Wonderful!
The apple pie in the making.

The finished apple pie. Voila!

Forbidden Territory

I am an author. I love to write and own several journals filled with ideas. Currently I am starting a strong story. I am not going to give away what it is about, but here are the characters.

Characters:
Amelia Lux (Amy) -  A fifteen year old girl with long blonde hair and green eyes. She is quiet, a loyal friend, and very pretty. Because she is somewhat shy, she does not stand out, except for acting. She loves drawing. The protagonist.
Camille Lux (Cami) - Amy's younger sister of twelve, she has strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes. She is very popular, loud, and funny. She has an annoying exterior, but on the inside she is helpful and lonely. Like her sister she tries not to stand out by being smart.
Joshua Rogers (Josh) - Amy's best friend since kindergarten, he is a tall, awkward fifteen year old. He has hazel eyes under duct taped glasses, and black hair. He loves playing video games and his favorite subject is science. (Josh is a geek)
Selene Jones (Sel)  - Another of Amy's closest friends, she was born in Paris. She has olive skin, brown eyes, and luscious black brown hair. She is very style oriented and boy crazy. She is almost sixteen years old. If One Direction was in my story she would be that crazy fan you see get arrested on TV.
Trish Lloyd - One of Amy's friends, she is very intelligent. She has short red hair and glasses with blue eyes. She is almost fifteen years old. Trish always carries a large book.
Scotty Shepherd - Amy's neighbor and childhood friend. He has messy blonde brown hair and brown eyes. He has a charming smile and is funny and daring. He is seventeen years old.
Arren Krikett - Amy's boyfriend and one of the most popular boys in school.  He has dark brown hair and forest green eyes. He is not scared of anything. However, he has a secret. . .

When the story is further along I shall give you the bios for more of the characters. Here's  an excerpt.
The forest scared me. With it's gnarled old black tree trunks and lost paths, it seemed like something out of a fairy tale. I lived right next to the forest, my backyard extending in, and my bedroom window looking down upon it. My dog Sadie would creep into the trees at night, but would always be at the foot of my bed when I awoke. With those innocent brown eyes I wondered what she did. What she hunted. "Amelia?" My mother's soft voice startled me. She was wearing her mint green nurse's outfit. My mom did volunteer work at the local hospital, where everyone loved her. "Mom!" I groaned. "I have told you before, call me Amy. Everybody else does." She smiled, green eyes crinkling at the edges, ginger hair escaping from a messy ponytail. "Ah but to me," she said, kissing my forehead, "you will always be my little girl." I groaned again as she left to find her car keys. However much I denied it, I loved having such a close relationship with my mother. My friend Selene did not even talk to her mom. I sighed and looked out my window, eyes widening. I could have  sworn I had just seen yellow eyes looking at me from the forest. Just a, um, rabbit or something, I told myself. My mind wasn't convinced, though.

Whose eyes were those?

The Amazing Spiderman and More!

I recently saw The Amazing Spiderman. It was everything I had hoped for and more. See it! I somewhat suck at movie summaries so just google them to know more. I cannot wait for the sequel, because at the end, LizardMan really was hinting towards one.
The other movies I want to see this summer? [just from the previews]

  • Katy Perry: Part of Me
  • Total Recall
  • Fun Size
  • 666 Park Avenue [tv show]
Enjoy!

The Avengers

I went to the movies and saw the Avengers yesterday. It was really funny! But one of the quotes really cracked me up. Here it is:

Thor:Loki is still my brother, no matter what.
Black Widow:He killed 80 people in two days.
Thor:He was adopted.

Hehehe.... I also liked Iron Man's snappy comments and constant fighting with Captain America. Have you seen the Avengers yet? Did you like it?
Hawkeye was my favorite dude, then Black Widow, and then Thor. Archers forever!!!!

Comment! :P
